Below you’ll find books and any other resource I could think of. For ongoing counseling options, please refer to the “Our Community” tab above. I will do my best to keep those resources updated with people who are accepting new clients and/or are in my network of colleagues.
Books
Here is my Amazon booklist (in no particular order). Explore this list to see books I may have referenced during session and to continue to do the work independently or with friends. Be sure not to order any books from this particular link because they’ll be delivered to me.
Movement
If you are looking for resources for movement or are interested in energy healing, there are two places I recommend: Sankofa Yoga or Spiritual Essence Yoga.
In Baltimore, other people who I recommend for movement are: Michelle Stafford aka Divayogi, Body Bliss Yoga w/Dee Satterfield, and Zehbras Fitness.
Music & Mindfulness
For meditation, for winding down, for rest, or whatever your needs are. Here are two playlists I made for all the relaxing moments!
Playlist 1: Most songs don’t have any words, good for meditation/sleep.
Playlist 2: Most songs do have words. Good for focus/relaxation.
Apps are an accessible way to practice mindfulness. I recommend Insight Timer, which is free and has lots of guided meditations, sound baths, etc., and Headspace which does have a monthly fee but is also good.
